Destination Mexico {Beach Style}

Heading south today for some of my favorite inspiration – destination style! Now I know we’ve done Mexico before, but this time it’s a little different. It’s all about the Mexican beach! This is what I envision as the true Mexico destination wedding: ceremony on the beach, mariachi band for the cocktail hour, sunset over the water, and reception on the cliffs. Destination {beach} Mexico here we come!

Destination Hamptons

While I’m spending my weekend down in Ocean City, Maryland for a fabulous bride-to-be’s bachelorette festivities, we’re figuratively heading to the Hamptons for wedding ideas destination style. The Hamptons are a summer staple for Long Island and NYC dwellers and it goes without saying that it is the perfect backdrop for a summer wedding by the beach. It’s convenient location from New York, charming villages (check out South and East Hampton for trendy boutiques and quaint side streets), beautiful beaches, and massive estates make it a prime wedding location. The beauty of the Hamptons wedding scene is that you can go a lot of different ways which is exactly why I wanted to blend a few today. Brides can choose to go vineyard, beachy or “New England town style” depending on your own vision. But whatever you go with, you can be assured that the Hamptons will not only be beautiful but welcoming for a perfect “destination” affair!

To the Beach… for the Dress

Though you may still be in 2012 mode, for a summer beach bride, it’s time to start thinking about 2013, and if you haven’t already, then you better start thinking about saying yes to the dress.. that is, the beach wedding dress!

Since we have a year to go, it seems like the perfect time for beach inspired wedding dress ideas for our beach brides-to-be! I tend to swoon over the same designers when it comes to this type of dress: flowing, ethereal, with lots of chiffon – the exact things that I think of for a beach wedding! These dresses are a mix of designers and styles, but the trend is very light, summery, and of course beachy! If you don’t love these styles I assure you that there are so many other gowns by this group of designers that you will not be disappointed. Drum roll please… today we love San Patrick (first photo), Elizabeth Fillmore (second photo), Saja Wedding (third and fifth photos), La Femme (fourth photo), Melissa Blackburn (sixth photo), Ivy & Aster (eighth photo)

Happy beach wedding planning!

To the Beach (Table Setting Ideas)

Well, although you may not want to admit it, the summer season at the beach is winding down. Ladies, there are only three more official beach weekends left (and maybe a few unofficially after that) so get your thrills in now because soon, it’s time to start planning for your summer 2013 wedding…. at the beach obviously!

So for some current inspiration and future planning, today, we’re heading to the water again for more beach wedding inspiration (although this time I couldn’t help but throw in some pier table inspiration as well). Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself now; the point of today is all about the beach table setting! We haven’t really done a full beach table setting post yet, so here it is. There won’t be another until next summer, so hopefully with these incredibly beautiful and inspiring beach wedding tables, you get a few ideas to plan your own beach wedding for when next summer rolls around.
