Ho, ho, ho? Merry Christmas and all that jazz! It’s officially the first day of Christmas so I’m hoping that all of our very lovely brides got more than… what is it? Right… a partridge in a pear tree. Yes, hopefully now that you have the ring you’re in full planning mode and getting down to the finishing touches, so that’s exactly what we have here, the finishes for your Christmas wedding. To plan a full blown Christmas celebration, I’m thinking your wedding is literally the week of, before or after Christmas. And if this is the case, it must be very Christmasy! To avoid a blaring red and green palette (though I’m not opposed) we’re going with a toned down gold with plenty of deep evergreens (literally – lots of evergreen), and occasional sprinkles of red. Gold dresses up the day and keeps it feeling festive, and adding red and green details reminds your guests that it actually is days before (or after) Christmas. From the chair touches, to the trees, the incredible holiday decor at the Skylands Manor (New Jersey & New York brides?), the favors, and the very festive dessert tables… Christmas is officially here!
