Sausalito, Cali – Into the Outdoors

I always find myself in need of the California sunshine and year round wonderful weather so when I see a wedding basically anywhere in Cali I turn my head. But it takes more than just a state to make a wedding, and when I saw the small and lovely details at Kathleen and Jorgen’s wedding captured elegantly by e&b photography, I knew I found something special!

From the photography: The Headlands Center for the Arts didn’t disappoint and the grounds provided amazing coastal backgrounds. The inside spaces were so unique, even the bathrooms were cool! The ceremony took place under a huge eucalyptus tree overlooking fog covered hills. The reception was close knit and food was done family style inside the mess hall. Kathleen was sooo detail oriented and she wasn’t kidding when she told us that she “DIY’ed the bejezus” out of this thing!

Enjoy the little details today lovelies!

Board {#13} Mad Men Inspired

As another Monday rolls around {why do I feel like I’m always saying this..} it’s time for a throwback board, all they way back to Mad Men inspired. That means 50 years ago and lots of vintage style. Musts include the classic martini, a fur + brooch, a birdcage veil, and lace gloves. The look? Not quite Betty Draper and not quite Joan Harris {for the Mad Men fans}, but a nice blend somewhere in the middle…
